Our Story

At Aramavich Studio, artist and textile innovator Vladimir Aleksandrov creates one-of-a-kind Alpaca Living Pelts made from the fleece of elite, royal registered alpacas, crafted without harm, stitching, or glue. Each piece begins with the careful selection of rare, high-quality fleeces, including unique genetic types such as harlequin and appaloosa.

Using an ancient felting technique, the fleece is fused naturally to its base, preserving the fiber’s integrity and the animal’s well being. This process transforms sheared alpaca fleece into a luxurious, living textile that feels as if the spirit of the animal remains within it.

Alpaca fleece is celebrated as one of the world’s most superior natural fibers. Softer than cashmere, warmer than wool, hypoallergenic, flame retardant, and naturally antibacterial.
