Handcrafted from the fleece of alpaca DVAF’s Skeeter’s Lucky Penny (AOA# 36214594), born April 30, 2023, this unique rug is made entirely from her medium fawn Huacaya fiber.
No stitching, no glue just natural alpaca felt created through a traditional wet-felting process. The result is a one-of-a-kind organic piece that celebrates Penny’s beautiful, soft fleece in its pure form.
Created using an ancient felting technique, the fleece is bonded naturally without glue or stitching  preserving the purity and softness of the fiber while honoring the integrity of the animal.
